Provincial Nominee Program is run by each provincial government in Canada which provides various immigration programs with lower eligibility requirements compared to federal Express Entry.

Pros and Cons

  • Free to choose the location / occupation after receiving PR
  • Various types of immigration programs in each province
  • Most programs allow Non-skilled job positions to apply

  • Longer processing time
  • Not free to move locations during permanent residence processing
